WebApr 20, 2024 · I was recently gifted a small modeller's lathe by a friend. Turns out it's a (potentially rare) Portass 2 1/8in lathe built in the 1920's. As such, the main casting, except for the bearing surfaces, is anything but uniform. Not a straight line anywhere. I think I did it justice, although the loft is a little odd, it's pretty close.
