WebAug 30, 2015 · Relay has been described as both an “evolution” of Flux, and as a simplification of Flux. One way it simplifies is in the area of stores. In Flux applications, instead of traditional MVC models, Flux has the somewhat related concept of data stores. For each React component there is often a corresponding store for that component. Webreact-query is fine (and is what we used before for REST), but we want to use normalized caching with GQL - we have so many entities with so many relations and so much data to keep up to date and in sync - normalized caching should be a huge benefit for us because that means we do not have to fetch hundreds to thousands of entities in some cases.
