Webb8 sep. 2012 · Just an update, I’ve started the book “The Plains Across: The Overland Emigrants and the Trans-Mississippi West, 1840-60” by John D. Unruh Jr. My grandma purchased it for me. She said it was one of the best books my Grandfather ever read about the Oregon Trail and since he was such an Oregon Trail buff I guess I’d better believe him!
